The United Hydrocarbon, nine member, Board of Directors provides strategic guidance to the company, sets direction on policy and ensures we’re maintaining the high standards that we have set for ourselves. All Board committees are comprised of independent directors.
Mr. Goodman is President and Chief Executive Officer of Dundee Corporation and serves on its board of directors. Mr. Goodman leads Dundee’s operations globally, and is responsible for managing the firm’s transformation into an integrated wealth management platform and leading investment manager. Prior to his return to Dundee in 2014, a Canadian chartered bank’s acquisition of DundeeWealth brought Mr. Goodman to the bank in a new role as the Head of Global Asset Management, leading the newly acquired Dynamic fund family and Asset Management division of such Canadian chartered bank.
Mr. Goodman initially joined Dundee in 1994 as Partner, Vice President and Portfolio Manager. He became President and Chief Executive Officer of Dynamic Funds in 2001, and subsequently of DundeeWealth, Dynamic’s parent company, in 2007. It was under Mr. Goodman’s leadership that the firm was recognized as Fund Company of the Year for a record of seven times at the Canadian Investment Awards, and experienced growth of assets under management from $5 billion to over $50 billion. Prior to joining Dundee, Mr. Goodman was an experienced litigator. He received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University in 1985 and a Bachelor of Law (Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa in 1988, where he now serves on the President’s Council. His Chartered Financial Analyst designation was conferred by the University of Virginia in 1996.

Mr. William T. (Bill) Davis graduated from the University of Alberta with a B.Sc. Forestry in 1976. He began his oil and gas career with Clark Resources Inc. in Tulsa Oklahoma in 1980. In 1987 he was recruited to work for Canadian Hunter Exploration and moved to Calgary, Alberta. Hunter offered him a chance to fill a number of roles, including Exploration Manager. While at Canadian Hunter Mr. Davis was awarded the Schmeelk fellowship and was granted sabbatical leave to pursue graduate studies at L’Universite Laval from 1991 to 1993 in Quebec City. In 1994 Mr. Davis started Search Energy Corp. Search Energy was converted to a Royalty Trust structure in 2001. Shortly thereafter Find Energy Ltd. was founded and sold in 2006. Profound Energy Inc. quickly followed and was sold in 2009. All of the companies founded by Mr. Davis were eventually listed on the TSX and he served as Chief Executive Officer, President and Director in each case. Since 2009 Mr. Davis has been involved in energy related activities. He is currently the President of 1798394 Alberta Ltd.
Mr. Ollivier has over 25 years of oil and gas and capital markets experience working both domestically in Canada and internationally in numerous countries. Prior to his current role, he served as Chief Executive Officer and President of UNX Energy Corp., which was sold in 2011. Preceding UNX, Mr. Ollivier spent nine years in the Canadian investment banking industry working as a Managing Partner and Institutional Equity Salesman of Paradigm Capital, and a Partner and Institutional Equity Salesman at Cormark Securities Inc. In the first decade of his career, Mr. Ollivier worked in various intermediate and ultimately senior-level capacities with Canadian Hunter Exploration Ltd., Crestar Energy Inc. and Murphy Oil Company Ltd. Mr. Ollivier holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Masters of Economics, both from the University of Calgary, and is also a Chartered Professional Accountant (“CPA”) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”).
